Welcome to Netlife, a website dedicated to providing information on general computer related queries with guides and tutorials with topics covering a wide variety of interests. The site is maintained during my spare time.
As you may have noticed Netlife is undergoing a revamp at the moment and there is still lots of work to be done, unfortunately I had to change the URL generation from the old /artid/catid to /long-title/ so some of the older pages may give you 404 errors, I have setup 301 redirects on the popular pages.
There is still a lot of work to be done on the site but I hoping to complete everything by the end of August so that I can focus on content. The site will maintain its original focus but with the added sections for FTA satellite, home entertainment and general RSA ramblings.
I am also trying to balance the local content against international content and putting together anything related to South Africa I will try and keep it relevant to international visitors and visa versa.
A focus will be placed on Solar power for energy savings in the living smart section while new articles will be added for home entertainment and cctv across the site. I also hope to spend a bit more time on VOIP, NAS and Virtualization technologies and even some new guides for pfSense
